Talented players everywhere never get seen by the clubs that could give them their next chance. AwayGameFC exists to change that.
Why we started
My story started as a football coach in a small town in New Zealand. Finding players who could commit to the demands of the game was a constant challenge — and more often than not, it came down to who you knew rather than what you could do. That's why I started AwayGameFC: to give players and clubs a simple way to connect, and to open up playing opportunities they might otherwise never get.
And it works both ways. Players send countless emails and videos that go unanswered, while clubs looking for talent rely on word of mouth and a small circle of contacts. Good players get missed, and clubs miss out on them.
What we do
AwayGameFC brings players, coaches and clubs together in one place. Players create a free profile with their highlight reel, position, passports and where they'd like to play; coaches share their licences, experience and the roles they want. Clubs search by what they need, shortlist the people they like, and get in touch directly.
What we believe
- Every player deserves to be seen. A profile on AwayGameFC is free for players, wherever they're from.
- Safety comes first. We check every club before it can contact a player, and players can block anyone who makes them uncomfortable.
- Playing abroad changes you. A season overseas builds your game, your independence and your network — on and off the pitch.
