1. About AwayGameFC

AwayGameFC is run by Garrett James Blair, a sole trader based in New Zealand ("we", "us"). It is an online platform where football players and coaches create profiles and verified clubs can find and contact them.

2. Who can use AwayGameFC

• You must be 18 or over.
• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• One account per person. Club accounts must be created by someone authorised to act for that club.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. What we are — and what we aren't

AwayGameFC helps players, coaches and clubs find each other. We are not a football club, employer, agent, intermediary or immigration adviser, and we don't take part in any agreement between a player or coach and a club.

• We don't guarantee that any player or coach will be contacted, offered a trial or role, or signed, or that any club will find who it's looking for.
• Any trial, contract, payment, travel or visa arrangement is between the club and the player or coach. Check offers carefully and get independent advice — for example from a lawyer, a players' or coaches' union, or a licensed immigration adviser.
• Coaching licences are self-declared unless marked "Verified", which means we've seen a certificate for that licence. Verification is a reasonable check, not a guarantee. Police or working-with-children checks are always self-declared. Clubs must confirm a coach's qualifications and carry out their own background and safeguarding checks before hiring, especially for any role involving under-18s.
• Coaches must only upload genuine certificates that belong to them. Uploading a false or altered certificate will get the account closed.

4. Club verification

We take reasonable steps to check that each club is genuine before it can contact players. Verification is not a guarantee of a club's conduct, finances or offers. We can change or remove a club's verification at any time.

5. Your content

• You own what you post — your profile, bio, video links and messages.
• You give us permission to store, display and share that content as needed to run AwayGameFC (for example, showing a public profile on the site).
• You must have the right to share anything you post, including any video you link to, and it must be accurate and not misleading.
• We can remove content that breaks these terms or our community guidelines.

6. Rules for using AwayGameFC

You must not:

• harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against anyone;
• ask a player to pay for a trial, registration, "placement", or anything similar as a condition of an opportunity;
• scam, mislead or impersonate anyone, or create fake profiles or clubs;
• send spam or contact players for anything other than genuine football opportunities;
• share other people's personal information without their permission;
• copy or collect data from the site in bulk ("scraping"), or try to get around our security;
• post anything unlawful, or use AwayGameFC to break any law.

7. Messages

Only verified clubs can start conversations. Players and coaches can reply or block a club at any time. We may review messages if someone reports a problem or we suspect misuse. See our privacy policy for more.

8. Fees

Basic player and coach profiles are free. We offer paid subscriptions: Player Pro, Coach Pro, and monthly or annual plans for clubs. Prices are shown in US dollars. Before you pay for anything, we'll show you the price and any extra terms.

• Subscriptions (Player Pro, Coach Pro and club plans) can be cancelled at any time. You'll keep access until the end of the month or year you've already paid for. We don't give refunds for part-used periods.
• This doesn't affect any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or other laws — for example, if something we provide isn't as described.

9. Suspending or closing accounts

• You can delete your account at any time from your account page, or by contacting us.
• We can suspend or close an account, or remove content, if you break these terms, if we need to protect other users, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable to, we'll tell you why.

10. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep AwayGameFC running well, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Your rights under the law: nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or other laws that can't be excluded. If you use AwayGameFC for business purposes — for example, as a club — you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, to the extent the law allows.

As far as the law allows:

• we aren't responsible for what users say or do, including any dealings between players and clubs;
• we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost opportunities, earnings or profits;
• our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or NZ$100 if you haven't paid us anything.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as AwayGameFC grows. We'll change the "last updated" date, and tell you about significant changes before they take effect. If you keep using AwayGameFC after that, you accept the new terms.

12. New Zealand law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts can decide any disputes. If you have a problem, please talk to us first — we'll try to sort it out.
